Learning with the best.

As a recipient of the Louise Lauretano DeMars Love of Art Fund at Main Street Community Foundation, I participated in two workshops with renowned water marbling artists Regina and Daniel St. John of Chena River Marblers. These workshops allowed me to explore the beautiful world of water marbling. Water marbling is a dying traditional craft. As my teachers, master marblers Dan and Regina St. John, often noted, it is a rare discipline that very few people know how to do anymore. This education honors that endangered heritage. I hope to blend traditional fluid marbling techniques with my modern abstract sensibilities.
