2019: Bought a set of watercolors. 

2020: Finally touched them and played around. 

2021: Took an illustration class, got curious, and learned to use watercolor like a pencil. 

2022–2023: While staying in the Dominican Republic, I joined a friend's 90-day art challenge. I used to labor over a single piece for days without feeling satisfied. But during that challenge, I switched to quick mountain studies, learning to let one brush mark represent a tree, another represent light, and another represent dark, and turned my watercolor practice into a mark-making experience. That curiosity turned into a passion, and watercolor has been my primary medium ever since.
