My friend, Aisha Mohammed and I made a video piece to enter into a competition created by Apple. There was specific criteria given at 5:00 pm Friday the 10th, and the piece needed to be turned in on Saturday the 11th by 5:00 pm. I really liked the idea of working on a piece in such a short period of time. We approached the piece as two fifteen year old girls. Honestly, Aisha and I were depressed after we made the piece. Much of the text was picked up from what girls are writing on their facebook pages or what we have overheard girls saying in passing. It reveals teenagers at their worst, not their best.
