2004 My Latina Self/ My Other Self, Hartford Public Library, Hartford, CT
Conceived, Directed and Instructed by Marlo Marrero & Jane Hoben, Funded in part by The Greater Hartford Arts Council.
My Latina Self / My Other Self grew out of the 2004 One Book for Greater Hartford selection, When I Was Puerto Rican, by Esmeralda Santiago. Focusing on the theme of dual identities, which Santiago's memoir explores, twelve students from Maria Sanchez Elementary School in Hartford and Miss Porter's School in Farmington used photographic self-portraits to represent their own experiences of dual identities.

2002 ACT LIKE YOU CARE, Conceived, Directed and Instructed by Marlo Marrero, Funded in part by Gerber Scientific, CT Transit, Miss Porter's School, The Bushnell, Real Art Ways, West End Civic Association, Briarwood Printing, Simonds Photographic, Mark Snyder, Phil Fortune. A L Y C is a multifaceted project that allowed visual voices of two communities of young women (13 girls), ages 10-17, to be seen by many peoples via photographs, the web and our public transportation system.     www.actlikeyoucare.org?
